Waste Leveler (Technician)

Ally Waste Services is hiring Waste Levelers to help keep apartment communities clean and running smoothly. You'll be responsible for managing trash flow, cleaning dumpster and compactor areas, pulling cans, and reporting activity through our mobile app.

Schedule: Sunday-Friday | Sunday: 8:00am to 1:00pm, Monday-Friday: 3:00am to 10:00am

Pay: $20.00/hr

Waste Leveler Qualifications/Physical Requirements:

• Levelers must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years or more than 2 minor violations including a handheld device in the previous 3 years)
• Must have 2 consecutive years of driving experience as a licensed driver
• Frequently lift up to 50lbs at a time
• Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
• Must be able to move quickly while using a broom and dust pan
• Must be able to operate a vehicle safely for 8+ hours at a time
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pre‑Employment Screening

Candidates selected for hire may be required to complete a pre‑employment drug screening, consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Screening may include testing for marijuana where permitted by relevant regulations. Compliance with all screening requirements is a condition of employment.

Additional Screening Requirements For Driving Positions

Positions that involve driving company vehicles or driving on company business are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, conducted in accordance with applicable laws. To qualify for driving duties, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Hold a current and valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Be at least 18 years old and have maintained a valid license for a minimum of 2 years.
• Have no Major Violations (Type I) within the past 36 months.
• Have no more than 4 Minor Violation points in the past 36 months and no more than 3 Minor Violation points in the past 12 months.
• Successfully pass a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
