Position Details

Title: Janitorial Account Manager
Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends or on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning and service quality standards are met
Assist with client walk-throughs, proposals, and contract preparation
Recruit, onboard, and train staff, emphasizing safety protocols
Manage staff schedules and provide ongoing team support
Monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure contract compliance
Oversee site safety, inspections, and incident reporting
Launch new contracts and manage ongoing account operations
Conduct performance reviews, address disciplinary issues, and support employee development
Approve payroll, invoices, and other financial documentation
Maintain accurate records for staff, properties, and liability matters
Provide operational updates to the Director of Operations

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
Dependable, flexible, and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience & Skills

Supervisory or leadership experience
Background in janitorial, maintenance, or facilities services
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities
Basic computer skills
Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), housekeeping, or security is a plus
Motivated individuals with transferable skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
