Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting to maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Handle specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve the appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces.
• Conduct routine custodial maintenance across multiple areas including offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and common spaces.
• Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and cleaning agents efficiently and safely to ensure optimal results.
• Maintain supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels and requesting replenishments as needed to ensure continuous service without interruption.
• Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment.
• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting larger issues to appropriate personnel.
• Support industrial or specialized cleaning projects when required, including high dusting or deep-cleaning initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Document completed work and report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping, sealing) and general custodial practices.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching comfortably.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures and basic repair skills are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues or coordinating with team members.
