Janitorial Cleaning Technician (Night Shift - Day Shift)

We are looking to fill a Janitorial Cleaning Technician This role is open to 1099 employee.

Location: Tampa and surrounding areas

Employment Type: 1099

Pay: Starting at $18

Schedule: Evening/ Night shifts/ Day Shift (typically 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning
• Experience cleaning gyms, offices, restrooms, or similar facilities
• Familiar with floor care (vacuuming, mopping, auto scrubbers is a plus)
• Ability to follow cleaning checklists and detailed instructions
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours (nights and weekends if needed)
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning (trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces)

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas
• Vacuum carpets and maintain hard floors (scrubbing, mopping, detailing)
• Clean high-touch areas (handles, railings, equipment, etc.)
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper usage
• Follow company quality standards and safety procedures
• Report any maintenance issues or supply needs

Preferred Qualifications (Plus):

• Experience working with commercial cleaning equipment (auto scrubbers, buffers)
• Experience in gym or fitness facility cleaning
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Portfolio or photos of previous work (for subcontractors)
