Dealership Janitor / Custodian

About the Role:
Tamiami Hyundai is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor / Custodian (OR TWO!) to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our dealership facilities. This position plays an essential role in ensuring a safe, clean, and professional environment for both our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all dealership areas including showrooms, offices, restrooms, customer lounges, and employee break rooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces daily.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
• Clean glass surfaces, windows, and entry doors.
• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as required (changing light bulbs, reporting repairs, etc.).
• Maintain exterior cleanliness around entryways and walkways.
• Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance experience preferred (dealership or commercial setting a plus).
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
