Urgent requirement for Jasper Reports Senior Developer with expertise in JasperReports Enterprise Edition is required for our banking clients in Kuwait

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Jasper Reports Senior Developer with expertise in JasperReports Enterprise Edition to design, develop, maintain and deploy Jasper reports. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, integrating data from various sources especially Temenos Transact Core Banking, building simple/complex reports with Jaspersoft Studio, and maintaining the reporting server. The role requires a combination of technical skills in areas like SQL, Java, and data modeling, along with the ability to translate business needs into actionable reports.

Role And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, Test and deploy simple/complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations using JasperReports Enterprise Edition.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional report specifications
• Optimize report performance and ensure scalability and maintainability of the reporting solutions.
• Integrate Jasper Reports with databases especially Temenos Transact Core Banking using Oracle Database, and Temenos Transact application, and web services.
• Manage and maintain JasperServer repositories, report scheduling, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Temenos Transact Core Banking team and other systems developers to ensure seamless data flow and integration by exposing the reports through Web services.
• Document all development processes, data sources, and report logic.
• Technical administration: Install, configure, and administer Jaspersoft Studio and JasperReports Server, and support build and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in JasperReports development (Enterprise Edition preferred).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and building Temenos routines on Transact Core Banking
• Experience with JasperSoft Studio, JasperServer, and JasperReports Library and ability to deploy on Red hat OpenShift.
• Solid understanding of report parameters, sub-reports, input controls, and data adapters.
• Experience in deploying and managing reports in a production environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
