Java Developer

 As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and ongoing maintenance of automation web pages, data center applications, and desktop applications such as configuration tools. Responsibilities will also include presenting data analytics as required by customers and providing customer-facing support for front-end website-related issues and other tools.

A working knowledge of REST APIs and the AWS platform is desirable. While the candidate will not be required to support the development or maintenance of the data repository or the API as part of their day-to-day activities, they may need to provide ad-hoc support in the future. Therefore, skills that complement these areas are favored.

Q u a l i f i c a t i o n s, E x p e r i e n c e& S k i l l s

A degree in a relevant subject (Computer/Software engineering or equivalent) Minimum 4+ years working experience in a similar industry

J o b- S p e c i f i c S k i l l s: E s s e n t i a l s t r e n g t h s:

• Java tools using at least one of Java desktop GUI frameworks, such as Swing, Eclipse RCP/SWT, JavaFX
• Strong Java, Maven, J2SE, J2EE, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/Bootstrap 3+, jQuery, Vue.js.
• Experience of building and reusable code libraries and Familiar with REST-API.
• Basic knowledge of Cassandra NoSQL databases, MuleSoft.
• Familiar with building solutions that are optimized for speed and scalability.
  
  

D e s i r a b l e s t r e n g t h s:

• Knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Linux, Nginx, Phyton scripts (Optional)
