Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to guide the design, development, and delivery of advanced desktop applications using Java and related technologies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both hands- on coding.

Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and other

software engineers, to design and develop solutions for our desktop-based application.

● Utilize your expertise in Java to architect and implement robust and scalable software

components.

● Develop RESTful services and integrate them into the application.

● Leverage Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and Spring Data frameworks to enhance the application's

functionality.

● Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using JavaFX.

● Ensure the quality and performance of the software through comprehensive testing and

debugging.

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply them to improve the software

development process.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

● 5-8 years of professional experience in software development, with a primary focus on Java.

● Strong proficiency in Java and its related frameworks, particularly Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and

Spring Data.

● Experience in developing desktop applications using JavaFX is highly desirable.

● Solid understanding of RESTful web services and API development.

● Proficient in implementing and consuming relational databases.

● Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

● Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

● Effective communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and customers.

● Experience in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment

and maintenance.

● Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
