Java Developer – Spring Boot

SourceTeK (a portfolio company of The Services Tree) is hiring a Java Developer for one of its clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on scalable backend systems in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs and microservices
• Integrate frontend components such as React when required
• Design event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar tools
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases and write efficient SQL queries
• Apply scalable design patterns and best coding practices
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, including containerization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• PostgreSQL and SQL optimization experience
• Solid knowledge of OOP, data structures, and algorithms
• Exposure to React or other modern frontend frameworks
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS
• Basic experience with NoSQL databases

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP systems or financial modules
• Knowledge of caching, Pub/Sub, or real-time processing systems
• Experience with message queues and streaming platforms
