Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, AWS, and containerization technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring Framework.

• Implement and optimize microservices architecture to improve scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit to ensure high code quality and stability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to overall technical direction.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.

• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain services on AWS (experience with GCP is also a plus).

• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure maintainability.

• Participate in team on-call rotation every 4–6 weeks.

• Work closely with frontend teams to integrate backend services with user-facing applications.

• Implement and manage Auth0/Okta integrations within a microservices-driven architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Framework development.

• Strong proficiency in Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Solid experience with JUnit for automated testing and code validation.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Working knowledge of AWS (or GCP) for cloud-based deployments.

• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Familiarity with Kafka or other Message Queue systems.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a global team environment.
