The Boeing Company is currently seeking a motivated Software Engineer / Developer (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to support our Bixby Software team located in Seal Beach, California. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization working classified programs for the Experimental Systems Group (ESG).

This position requires an Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

The Bixby Software team is dynamic group of software engineers supporting multiple efforts for ESG, all utilizing modern software technologies (Java, ReactJS, CI/CD pipelines) and methodologies (Scaled Agile). The 5+ years of planned work will also provide stability and plenty of opportunities for leadership.

Position Responsibilities:

Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.

Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations. Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products. Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products. Handles user inquiries, troubleshoots technical issues and user feedback analysis. Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development

Develops, establishes, monitors and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks. Executes and documents software research and development projects. Advises on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations. Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range/Experienced:

Summary pay range / Associate Level (Level 2): $112,500 - $137,500

Summary pay range / Experienced Level (Level 3): $143,100 - $174,900

Summary pay range / Senior Level (Level 4): $181,800 - $222,200
