About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Java Spring Boot Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, relational databases, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL (queries, schema updates, indexing basics).

• Debug issues, optimize performance, and assist in improving existing systems.

• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and senior engineers to deliver features on time.

• Assist in integrating third-party APIs and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc., optional).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Strong understanding of REST API development.

• Basic experience with SQL and relational database concepts.

• Familiarity with Git and common branching strategies.

Good to Have (Optional):

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.

• Exposure to message brokers like RabbitMQ, Redis.
