Job description

We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and ReactJS . You will be part of a fully Agile squad, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications end-to-end from the database layer and APIs to modern, responsive UIs.


This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, passionate about clean code, enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, and is committed to delivering high-quality software in short, iterative sprints.


Key Responsibilities


#End-to-End Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture .
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external consumers.
  • Develop intuitive and responsive front-end interfaces using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .

#Sprint Delivery & Agile Ways of Working

  • Commit to delivering the sprint backlog items along with the squad, working beyond narrow role boundaries to help the team succeed.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Closely collaborate with Product Owner, QA, and other Developers to ensure value-driven delivery.

#Architecture & Design

  • Contribute to front-end and back-end application architecture decisions to align with business needs and technical standards.
  • Ensure solutions follow best practices in performance, scalability, security, and maintainability .

#Quality, Testing & CI/CD

  • Implement and maintain automated unit tests and support integration testing.
  • Ensure code quality using Sonar/SonarQube and code reviews.
  • Work with Maven , Git , and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to enable frequent, reliable deployments.

#Collaboration, Communication & Knowledge Sharing

  • Adhere to Scrum values (focus, commitment, openness, respect, courage) and actively foster a culture of trust in the squad.
  • Share knowledge, mentor junior team members, and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Engage in open communication with stakeholders and ensure clarity on requirements, risks, and progress.

#Operational Support

  • Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes, tooling, and codebase .

Must-Have Technical Skills

#Backend:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java 8 and Core Java concepts (collections, multithreading, exception handling, etc.).
  • Spring Framework, Spring Boot , and Microservices development .
  • RESTful APIs / Web Services design and implementation.
  • Build and dependency management using Maven .
  • Experience with Oracle Database (SQL, basic performance tuning).

#Frontend:

  • ReactJS components, hooks, state management, routing.
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) for responsive web interfaces.
  • Tooling & Quality:
  • Git for version control.
  • Sonar / SonarQube for code quality and static analysis.
  • Experience writing and maintaining automated unit tests (JUnit, similar).
  • Ways of Working:
  • Proven experience working in fully Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

#Good-to-Have Skills

  • Jenkins for CI/CD.
  • Docker and containerization basics.
  • Cucumber or similar BDD testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology beyond basics (Story refinement, estimation, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.

#Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills .
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong team spirit and willingness to collaborate and support other squad members.
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented , focused on achieving squad and project targets.
  • Mindset of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
