JCB: PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician

Job Summary:

The PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician is responsible for carrying out inspection, testing, and minor repairs of JCB machines before delivery to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of new JCB machines as per checklist and company guidelines.

Check all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for proper functioning.

Conduct visual inspection for any damage, leakage, or missing parts.

Perform functional tests to ensure machine readiness for delivery.

Prepare PDI reports and maintain inspection records.

Report any quality or manufacturing issues to supervisors or service engineers.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or related trade.

Knowledge of JCB or construction equipment or Automobile Industry is an advantage.

Skills Required:

Good knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read technical manuals and inspection checklists.

Attention to detail and quality-oriented approach.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel / reporting tools for PDI records
