Jewellery Cashier

You are responsible to provide the daily, weekly and monthly report of sales transaction, scrap sales report, and ensure that the report must be accurate and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Weigh the jewellery selected by the customer for purchase and calculate the billing amount accordingly
• Verify the tag in the jewellery and prepare the bill accordingly
• Collect cash, debit, or credit card payment from the customer as per the bill amount and verify for fake notes through the Ultra violet counterfeit money detector.
• Ensure all necessary details such as weight of jewellery, tax amount, etc. is mention in the bill.
• Ensure invoice quantity, purity, weigh and items are accurate as per the details
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions in a precise and secure manner, reconciling any discrepancies and maintaining the cash register's proper cash levels.
• Mention the discount amount (if any) in the bill as per the company policy
• Accurately and efficiently process customer purchases using a cash register or POS system, ensuring correct pricing and handling of coupons or discounts
• Prepare bill according to the transaction. (If a customer is exchanging an old jewellery, differential amount needs to be filled with appropriate details)
• Prepare appropriate bill for Gold Savings Scheme account during encashment
• Collect the installment amount for Gold Savings Scheme account.
• Billing time should be done without delay
• Record all the transactions made in the retail store
• Maintain the copy of all the bills
• Upload the invoices and customer ID in OneDrive
• Maintain the sales record on a daily basis and tally the accounts
• Maintain the payment details of gold saving scheme accounts
• Collect necessary details of customers such as Emirates ID, Contact details and other required details for future reference or customer documentation.
• Maintain all the records required for regulatory compliance and audit purposes
• Record the sales transactions for the customer loyalty program, such as updating the customer loyalty card points as per the purchase made
• Upsell to the customers at the point of sales or billing about the promo, offers and services

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years work experience in Retail/Jewellery/Exchange Industry as Cashier/Teller
• Speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam
• Computer Literate
• Highly proficient in MS Excel/ Fast Typing
• Good Math skills
• Strong communication skills and time management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
