Job Description for the post of Manual cum corel Designer

Experience: 1+ years in the diamond jewelry manufacturing industry

CTC offered: up to 30 K PM

Location: Andheri MIDC, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Develop manual sketches of diamond-studded jewellery (rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, etc.).
• Create detailed digital designs in CorelDRAW for manufacturing feasibility.
• Work closely with CAD designers and merchandisers to ensure designs are technically accurate and production-ready.
• Maintain a balance between creativity and practicality, ensuring uniqueness and cost efficiency in designs.
• Research current market trends in diamond jewellery and incorporate them into design collections.
• Develop theme-based collections for exhibitions, buyers, and seasonal launches.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, target customer preferences, and quality standards.
• Support sampling & prototyping teams with required design inputs.

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Manual and Corel Designer in diamond-studded jewellery manufacturing.
• Strong sketching skills and ability to visualize new design concepts.
• Expertise in CorelDRAW (mandatory); knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of diamond placement, setting techniques, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt designs based on buyer requirements.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design and create Jewellery pieces, including rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets etc, using various manual techniques.
• Interpret client requirements and create custom designs that meet their specifications.
• Collaborate with clients and provide recommendations on design ideas, materials, and gemstones.
• Ensure that all designs align with industry standards and regulations, including quality and safety requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in Jewellery design to provide innovative and appealing designs.
• Maintain accurate records of designs, materials used, and cost estimates for each project.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
