Opening for Operations Manager - Jewellery
Role Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the jewellery business, ensuring smooth coordination across sales, procurement, production, logistics, and client service. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fine jewellery, especially pearls and gemstones, and be capable of maintaining the highest operational and aesthetic standards expected by premium clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
- Supervise and streamline all retail and back-office operations to ensure efficiency and consistency across stores.
- Establish and implement operational procedures for stock movement, inventory control, and quality assurance.
- Oversee production timelines for custom jewellery orders and special collections.
- Maintain showroom readiness, ensuring premium display standards and customer experience.
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Manage procurement and coordination with suppliers, gem dealers, and artisans for timely material availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory of gemstones, pearls, and finished pieces.
- Ensure periodic audits, stock reconciliation, and system updates.
Client Service & Sales Coordination
- Support the sales and design teams in fulfilling high-end client requests.
- Handle escalations or special orders with discretion and professionalism.
- Ensure client experience aligns with the brand’s premium positioning.
Team & Performance Management
- Lead and develop the retail and operations team to maintain brand standards.
- Set operational KPIs and evaluate team performance regularly.
- Coordinate between design, sales, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to jewellery certification, hallmarking, and local regulations.
- Maintain data confidentiality and generate detailed operational reports for management.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification or equivalent qualification in Gems, Diamonds, or Pearls is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury jewellery operations, including gems and pearl segments.
- In-depth knowledge of gem grading, pearl classification, and jewellery quality standards.
- Experience in premium or high-value retail environments (jewellery, watches, or fashion).
- Proficiency in inventory management and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-handling skills.
- Bilingual (English and Arabic) preferred.
