Jnr. Draftsman (Interior, Architectural, and Fit-out scope)

Role: Jnr. Draftsman

Department: Design Team

Reports to: Snr. Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D drawings based on design sketches or 3D perspectives. Develop layout and detail drawings under supervision.
• Understand and interpret the designer’s/architect’s input under the guidance of the Snr Draftsman.
• Assist in preparing joinery, ceiling, flooring, and MEP coordination drawings.
• Follow CAD standards and drawing templates set by Seniors.
• Support document control by managing, printing and distributing drawings between design and site teams.
• Occasionally visit site for measurement or verification tasks.
• Responsible for maintaining the digital CAD block library and physical material sample boards.

Skills & Competencies

• Equivalent technical training or certification in drafting/CAD. Experience: 0-4 years of experience in interior, fit-out and architectural drafting.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel), AutoCAD, and other relevant drafting software.
• Technical Skills: Basic foundational knowledge of construction materials, finishes, joinery methods, and building logic.
• Good organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong desire to learn, accept feedback, and develop technical drafting skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
