Job Architecture Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Job Architecture Specialist designs, implements, and maintains the framework that defines job roles, levels, career paths, and competency requirements across the organization. They ensure alignment of roles with market data, internal equity, and external competitiveness while supporting strategic workforce planning, compensation structuring, and career development initiatives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Framework Development

  • Build and maintain job structures, career ladders, and job levels (e.g., leveling frameworks).
  • Create consistent career paths to support workforce growth and talent development.

2. Job Analysis & Evaluation

  • Analyze job content, responsibilities, and required competencies.
  • Map and evaluate roles to the appropriate grade or level within the organization.

3. Compensation Alignment

  • Collaborate with Compensation teams to ensure roles are aligned with market data.
  • Maintain consistent pay structures across the organization.

4. Governance & Standardization

  • Establish and maintain governance processes for job architecture.
  • Prevent job title inflation and ensure consistency across roles.

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to align job architecture with organizational strategy.
  • Support workforce changes and strategic HR initiatives.

6. Job Description Development

  • Standardize templates and language for all job descriptions.
  • Ensure job descriptions reflect the role’s grade, legal classification, and required competencies accurately.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • 3–6+ years in HR, specializing in compensation, talent management, or organizational design.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other compensation management software).
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and local market trends.
