Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Website Developer with Technical SEO expertise to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our website, ensuring technical SEO best practices, and helping us achieve top search engine rankings in competitive personal injury and housing disrepair markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and enhance www.claimtoday.com for performance, speed, and user experience.
• Implement technical SEO improvements including structured data, schema markup, site speed optimisation, and crawl/indexability fixes.
• Work on on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, internal linking, content structure).
• Collaborate with our content and marketing teams to align technical improvements with SEO strategy.
• Monitor website performance, analytics, and rankings, recommending improvements.
• Ensure site security, mobile responsiveness, and compliance with best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Website Developer (WordPress or similar CMS).
• Strong knowledge of Technical SEO (schema, sitemaps, canonical tags, Core Web Vitals, structured data).
• Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog).
• Understanding of digital marketing and ranking strategies.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable results.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
