We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Designer / Site Supervisor with a strong background in MEP and Interior Fit-Out engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and overseeing site execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD for MEP and fit-out works.
• Develop shop drawings, layout plans, sections, elevations, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate MEP drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting) with architectural and interior drawings.
• Revise drawings as per consultant/client comments.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities for MEP and interior fit-out works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure quality control, safety standards, and project timelines are maintained.
• Attend site meetings with consultants and clients.
• Prepare progress reports and site documentation.
• Assist in material approvals and quantity take-offs.
• Support project planning and scheduling activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting mandatory).
• Good understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
• Experience in commercial, retail, office, or hospitality fit-out projects preferred.
• Ability to handle both design office work and site supervision responsibilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
