Job Title: Assistant Storekeeper

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and organized Assistant Storekeeper to support daily store and warehouse operations. The role involves assisting in receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials while ensuring accurate inventory control and smooth store functioning. Key Responsibilities: Assist in receiving, checking, and verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes Help store materials properly in designated locations following storage procedures Assist in issuing materials to departments or sites based on approved requisitions Maintain accurate stock records (inward, outward, and balance updates) Support in regular stock counts and inventory verification Ensure proper labeling, arrangement, and cleanliness of the store/warehouse Report any stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Storekeeper Assist in preparing daily/weekly stock reports Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and warehouse teams as needed Follow safety and store management procedures at all times Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain preferred) 1–2 years of experience in store/warehouse operations (preferred) Basic understanding of inventory and stock management Good organizational and record-keeping skills Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel preferred) Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a team and follow instructions Preferred Qualifications: UAE/GCC experience preferred Exposure to ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage Experience in retail, construction, FMCG, or logistics industry
