Joinery Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and production details for custom furniture and interior joinery works. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, cutting lists, and production drawings for joinery and furniture projects.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings to develop workable joinery details.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure design intent and practicality.
• Ensure accuracy in dimensions, materials, and assembly details for production.
• Modify and update drawings as per site conditions or client revisions.
• Maintain organized drawing records and ensure timely submission of drawings for approval.
• Provide technical support during production and installation stages.
• Follow company drafting standards and ensure drawings meet quality and technical requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the detailing and site teams to resolve technical queries.
• Stay updated with joinery materials, hardware, and industry practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery or furniture drafting in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, and construction details.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of BAZIS or willingness to learn is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and design drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
