Joinery Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in joinery and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must possess a strong portfolio of joinery shop drawings and be available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings for joinery and custom furniture items including doors, wardrobes, cabinets, counters, wall panels, etc.
• Coordinate with production, design, and project management teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings to create precise joinery details.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Make timely revisions based on client or engineering feedback.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather measurements or support installation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in drafting for joinery/interior fit-out projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant drafting tools.
• Good understanding of materials, finishing, and manufacturing processes in joinery.
• Ability to interpret architectural and interior design plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
