Joinery Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed joinery shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists for luxury interior projects.
• Develop accurate plans, elevations, sections, and 3D details for bespoke joinery items including wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall claddings, doors, and custom furniture.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and design intent.
• Coordinate closely with designers, architects, and project managers to finalize technical details.
• Review design drawings for practicality, buildability, and material suitability.
• Conduct site measurements and update drawings accordingly.
• Work with production and factory teams to ensure drawings are aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain proper documentation, version control, and drawing logs.
• Identify design discrepancies and propose practical technical solutions.
• Ensure all joinery details reflect premium quality standards expected in luxury interiors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman, preferably in luxury fit-out or high-end joinery.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D modeling tools is an advantage (SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Solid understanding of joinery fabrication methods, hardware, materials, and finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and design drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced design environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in high-end residential or hospitality projects.
• Knowledge of premium materials (solid wood, veneer, marble, metals, custom finishes).
• Familiarity with CNC detailing and production workflows.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
