Joinery Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and technical joinery drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop joinery detailing in accordance with project requirements, design intent, and client specifications.
• Coordinate closely with the design, project, and production teams to ensure drawings are clear, practical, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings to extract and interpret all joinery-related information.
• Update and revise drawings based on site measurements, project modifications, and client feedback.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, company procedures, and project timelines.
• Maintain an organized record of drawings, revisions, and documentation for all joinery projects.
• Provide technical support and clarification to production and site teams when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• In-depth knowledge of joinery detailing, materials, finishes, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, precision, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Drafting / Interior Design / Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in interior fit-out or joinery manufacturing companies is an advantage.
