Joinery Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman with at least 4 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, coordinating with production and site teams, and ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery and fit-out shop drawings for production and site execution.
• Develop furniture, cabinetry, wardrobes, doors, wall cladding, and other custom joinery drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, production teams, and site engineers.
• Review tender drawings, BOQs, and specifications before preparing technical drawings.
• Prepare cutting lists, material specifications, and CNC-ready drawings where required.
• Modify drawings based on client comments and site conditions.
• Conduct site measurements and verification when necessary.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, authority regulations, and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical details.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman in UAE/GCC or relevant market.
• Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, interior fit-out, and furniture production.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D software, or CNC software will be an advantage.
• Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and joinery manufacturing processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
• Experience working with joinery factories or fit-out companies.
• UAE driving license is an added advantage.
