Joinery Estimator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Joinery Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, designers, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, cost control, and smooth project delivery from tender stage through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for joinery projects.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules to assess material and labour requirements
• Take off quantities from technical drawings and specifications
• Source and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractor.
• Assess risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records.
• Assist with variations, cost reporting, and project handovers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator or in a similar estimating role
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skill.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Qualifications (Desirable)

• Trade background in joinery or carpentry
• Qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
