Job Responsibilities – Joinery Installation Carpenter

• Reading and Interpreting Drawings
• Understand and follow detailed shop drawings, site sketches, and specifications for joinery installation.
• Site Preparation & Measurement
• Carry out accurate site measurements before installation.
• Inspect work areas and ensure readiness for joinery installation.
• Installation of Joinery Works
• Install doors, wardrobes, cabinets, partitions, wall cladding, counters, and other custom-made joinery items as per approved drawings.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing during installation.
• Handling Materials & Tools
• Safely handle joinery items, fixtures, and fittings during shifting and installation.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools, machines, and equipment properly.
• Quality & Finishing
• Ensure high-quality finishing of all joinery works (alignment, polish, veneer, PU, laminate, etc.).
• Carry out adjustments, touch-ups, and corrections as required.
• Coordination & Safety
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to avoid conflicts.
• Follow safety standards and site regulations during all work activities.
• Maintenance & Repairs
• Perform minor repairs and rectifications of damaged joinery items when required.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure installed items remain in proper condition.
• Reporting
• Report progress, delays, material requirements, and issues to the site supervisor/engineer.

Ability to work under pressure and complete the work provided under given time.
