Joinery Production Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Production Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end joinery production operations for interior fit-out projects. The role involves supervising the joinery production team, ensuring efficient factory operations, maintaining quality standards, and delivering joinery works on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control daily joinery production activities
  • Lead and supervise the joinery production team including foremen, carpenters, machine operators, and polishers
  • Prepare and monitor production schedules in line with project and site requirements
  • Ensure joinery works are manufactured as per approved drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with project, design, and site teams to meet delivery deadlines
  • Monitor material usage, reduce wastage, and control production costs
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and tools
  • Implement and enforce quality control and safety standards in the factory
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished and in-process joinery items
  • Manage manpower planning, overtime, and productivity
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials, hardware, and finishes
  • Support value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain production reports, records, and documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Wood Technology, Interior Fit-Out, or related field
  • 8–12 years of experience in joinery production within interior decoration companies
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a Joinery Production Manager / Factory Manager role
  • Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machines, panel saws, edge banding, sanding, and finishing
  • Ability to understand and execute AutoCAD joinery drawings
  • Experience working on UAE/GCC interior fit-out projects
  • Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects
  • Knowledge of ISO / QA-QC standards
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
