Joinery Site engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Joinery Site Engineer to join our team and support the execution of high-end fit-out works on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and coordinate the installation of bespoke joinery elements on-site according to approved drawings and specifications.

- Act as the technical liaison between the design team, production workshop, and site installation team.

- Ensure joinery works are executed in accordance with project timelines, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

- Conduct site measurements, mark-ups, and surveys to validate drawings and fit-out feasibility.

- Interpret technical drawings, plans, and joinery schedules, ensuring accurate implementation.

- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with health & safety policies.

- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, quality checklists, and snagging reports.

- Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and technical concerns.

Requirements:

- Ability to join immediately or within short notice (preferred)

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, interior design, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in a joinery or interior fit-out environment, ideally as a Site Engineer.

- Strong understanding of carpentry/joinery techniques, materials, and installation methods.

- Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
