Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities in the site to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with other departments such as draftsman & production to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used, labor hours, and project timelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in joinery and woodworking, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in a variety of joinery techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations related to woodworking operations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Ability to read Joinery AutoCAD drawings and identifying materials and various finishes.
