Full job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities in the site to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as draftsman & production to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used, labor hours, and project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in joinery and woodworking, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in a variety of joinery techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations related to woodworking operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Ability to read Joinery AutoCAD drawings and identifying materials and various finishes.
