Joomla 5 Developer

We are looking for a talented Joomla 5 Developer to join our team and work on a range of web development projects, including custom components, plugins, and templates. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Joomla 4/5, PHP, MySQL, and modern front-end technologies. You’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic websites and extensions that deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Joomla 5 websites, extensions, and templates.
• Build and maintain custom components, modules, and plugins using Joomla’s MVC architecture.
• Integrate third-party APIs and ensure compatibility with the Joomla framework.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize site performance and security.
• Collaborate with designers and backend teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces.
• Migrate older Joomla versions (3/4) to Joomla 5 while ensuring data integrity.
• Stay updated with Joomla’s latest updates, libraries, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Joomla development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• In-depth understanding of Joomla 5 architecture, API, and MVC patterns.
• Experience with template customization and overrides.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with React or Vue.js frontends integrated with Joomla.
• Familiarity with Composer, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of server management (Linux, Apache/Nginx) and cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
