SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY for

POSITION: Journalism/ Writing Teacher

DATES: June 22 – July 31 (6 weeks) Hours: 9am – 4pm

Summer Arts at Fayerweather is a six week multi-arts program for girls and boys ages 8-15 taking place on the campus of the Fayerweather Street School in Cambridge MA. Campers may attend for either 3 or 6 weeks. A structured art immersion program called Art Squad takes place alongside Summer Arts and is designed for children ages 6-7.

Summer Arts has a professional arts staff that teaches: art, dance, drama, music, media, sports, fashion design/textiles and writing. Students choose their own schedule and nothing is compulsory.

Journalism/Writing Teacher - Summer Arts at Fayerweather - summerarts.fayerweather.org - is looking for a teacher who has a passion for working with children ages 8-15. The teacher should have experience teaching children and will be responsible for producing a daily newspaper which will include editing and layout. Here is a description of the class.
