Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and building codes. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC regulations and safety standards.
• Perform renovation tasks that require electrical modifications or upgrades.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various electrical tasks including installation and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician in both industrial and commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
• Maintenance Person experience is beneficial for general maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
