About the Role

As a Journeyman Electrician with Z-Modular Power, you’ll play a key role in assembling, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical equipment across commercial and industrial projects. You’ll ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Z-Modular’s high standards for quality and safety. This position is ideal for a skilled electrician who takes pride in precision, teamwork, and completing projects safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble, install, maintain, and test electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial and industrial environments.

• Prepare work areas and materials for installation.

• Install electrical components and connect wiring in accordance with code and job specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings to complete accurate installations.

• Operate tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems (with required certifications).

• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances based on drawings or plans.

• Maintain equipment safety and security after use.

• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve project timelines and maintain quality standards.

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of experience as a commercial electrician (Journeyman level).

• Texas State Electrical License (Journeyman Card) required.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Strong blueprint reading and electrical layout capabilities.

• Proven ability to run electrical conduit with precision and expertise.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused mindset.

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and various shifts (including overtime or nights).

Work Environment

• Work primarily performed on active construction sites and in manufacturing environments.

• May involve occasional office work for documentation and coordination.

• Regular travel to job sites across multiple states may be required.

• Consistent, reliable onsite attendance is an essential part of this role.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly.

• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods.

• Manual dexterity for handling tools and electrical materials.

• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments.
