Journeyman Electrician - Foreman

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. As a lead Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings as well as managing daily job duties for a small crew and communicating job progress to supervisor. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. I believe in paying for efficient and skilled labor as well instead of wage stagnation that many employers practice. Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes

- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices

- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times

- Assist with setting up, breaking down, and cleaning job sites each day

- Keep the job moving efficiently while on the clock

Experience:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Electrician

- Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems

- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

- Experience in residential and commercial electrician work is preferred

- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools

- Knowledge of framework/building construction is a plus
