Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber, Technician, or Apprentice to join our team. This role involves working on various plumbing projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair in commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within the plumbing and construction industry.

We are competitive with pay and have monthly bonus structures.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
  • Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly for various plumbing applications
  • Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems and related mechanical components
  • Work on construction sites involving remodeling, new installations, or repairs in commercial or residential buildings
  • Utilize carpentry skills for framing or supporting plumbing infrastructure as needed
  • Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move materials or equipment around job sites
  • Adhere to safety protocols including heavy lifting techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Assist with troubleshooting complex plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge and field service experience
  • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all work complies with local codes and standards

Experience

  • Construction site experience with a focus on plumbing systems preferred
  • Knowledge of construction plumbing, HVAC systems, and schematics is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, carpentry, remodeling, or general maintenance is advantageous
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques required
  • Prior field service experience in commercial or residential settings is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for installation and repair projects
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (preferred) for site access or material transportation
  • Previous maintenance person experience or assembly work is beneficial but not mandatory

This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in dynamic environments. Candidates should be committed to continuous learning within the plumbing trade while contributing effectively to team projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
