Journeyman Plumber

Job description:

Andrews Plumbing Services is looking for a journeyman plumber. As a journeyman plumber, your duties cover the assembly and repair of plumbing systems, such as water delivery systems, landscaping sprinklers, interior fire sprinklers and drainage and wastewater disposal.

• Reads and interprets Contract Documents, Architectural, Piping and Plumbing Documents.
• Read and interpret Submittals and Shop Drawings.
• Possess an understanding of Plumbing fixtures and fixture fittings
• Have the ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues.
• Possess an understanding of Water supply and distribution systems installations and materials.
• Possess an understanding of sanitary drainage systems installations and materials.
• Possess an understanding of Storm drainage systems installations and materials.
• Must be able to Solder and braze plumbing piping.
• Possess an understanding of Waste and vent installations and materials.
• Has the ability to install plumbing systems with limited supervision.
• Performs layout of plumbing systems as per approved drawings.
• Assists with hands-on training of co-workers.

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shift Monday to Friday (weekend on-call schedule)
