Journeyman Plumber

<Job Summary>
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. <Duties>

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow on busy construction sites.
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes during remodeling or new construction projects.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations essential for precise plumbing work.
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to local codes, schematics, and industry best practices while working with field service teams in diverse environments.

<Experience>

• Minimum of three years' experience.
• Proven construction site and service work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems.
• Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, assembly, and remodeling tasks in a construction setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles relevant to plumbing installations.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques necessary for demanding fieldwork.
• Familiarity with schematics, blueprint reading, and basic math required for precise measurements and calculations.
• Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for transportation between job sites; handyman experience or general maintenance background is a plus.

Pay: $33.54 - $40.39 per hour
