Journeyman Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential construction sites. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble plumbing components.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support construction activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC specialists, and contractors to coordinate project tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing projects.
• Valid journeyman license or certification in plumbing; relevant certifications in welding or HVAC are a plus.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and schematics interpretation.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction site environments.
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, and field service operations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and demonstrate basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with carpentry basics and handyman skills that support plumbing installation and repairs.
• Valid commercial driver’s license or ability to operate construction vehicles is advantageous.
