Journeyman Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or in existing structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and layout planning
• Collaborate with construction teams including carpenters, HVAC specialists, and general contractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems and perform routine maintenance or remodeling as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and standards
• Skilled in welding, pipe threading, and working with schematics for precise installations
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices and heavy lifting techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for complex plumbing layouts
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general building maintenance
• Experience with field service operations including troubleshooting and repairs in commercial settings
• Competence in using hand tools, power tools, carpentry skills, and handyman techniques for various tasks
• Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for site transportation needs
• Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in remodeling or maintenance projects
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations
