Journeyman Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial properties. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing projects
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC systems
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation or repair tasks on construction sites
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in field service environments

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing projects
• Knowledge of construction site practices, schematics reading, and mechanical systems including HVAC is highly desirable
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and basic math for measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with remodeling, maintenance work, assembly tasks, and handyman skills is a plus
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a bonus.
• Prior experience working with blueprints or schematics in a field service or construction environment is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
