Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all codes and standards. Responsibilities

• Installation of new plumbing and gas piping for new construction homes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble plumbing components
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC technicians, and carpenters to coordinate project tasks effectively
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems within plumbing systems using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification with proven field experience in construction plumbing
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling processes, maintenance procedures, and handyman tasks is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting complex plumbing issues
• Reliable transportation to get to work -- currently, we are working in three communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
