Journeyman Tile Setter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of tiles and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship in both residential and commercial projects. As a Tile Setter, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces through your expertise in tile installation.

Duties

• Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and corners, ensuring precise alignment and spacing.
• Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayment.
• Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to design specifications, ensuring proper placement and adherence.
• Grout tiles after installation, ensuring a smooth finish and sealing edges to prevent moisture penetration.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Skills
