Jr. Accountant

About the job:

The accountant manages all book-keeping activities, financial monitoring, statutory & taxation filings & proactively provides reports & data to the management. Accountants should have a firm grasp of accounting, statutory (GST, return filing etc) & financial practices & possess excellent working knowledge of Tally & Microsoft Excel (Advance).

To ensure success Accountants should be prompt, honest, proactive, detail oriented, professional & analytical. Top candidates will have excellent presentation skills to summarize & present complex quantitative data to decision makers.

Responsibilities:

● Accounting entries

● Statutory compliance & Account finalization

● Payment collection

● Purchase & Payment Processing

● Stock Taking

● Reporting

● Other work

○ Solves any issue with inventory management software's or accounting software & ensures correct working.

○ Gets involved in dispatch activities as & when required

○ Registrations & account opening formalities in various companies.

○ Rate negotiations as & when required.

Minimum Qualifications:

● Deep knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel and Tally

● Knowledge of taxes, Accounts finalization, Statutory compliances.

● Min 3 years experience as an accountant.

● GST understanding & knowledge.

● Bachelors in any commerce degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience of Ecommerce Company’s accounting including reconciliation of payments from various marketplaces, online & offline accounting coordination.

● High proficiency in English

● Excellent interpersonal skills

● Dispatch experience
