Position Overview:
Loloah Alshaya General Trading & Contracting Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the daily financial and accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial recordkeeping, and reporting procedures. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and strong attention to detail while handling financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
- Maintain petty cash records and monitor cash transactions.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations as required.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain organized filing systems for accounting and financial documents.
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/ERP systems.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in construction or contracting companies is an advantage.
- Kuwait residency with transferable visa preferred.

Pay: KD350.000 - KD500.000 per month
