We are seeking a Jr. Demand Planner with experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning within FMCG or food distribution. The role is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and improving forecast accuracy to ensure high product availability and minimal stock-outs.
This position is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or Demand Planning roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and sales inputs
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and replenishment plans
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) in ERP systems
- Coordinate with suppliers on lead times, shipments, and delivery schedules
- Track stock availability, OOS risks, and slow-moving inventory
- Manage expiry control (FIFO / FEFO) to reduce obsolete stock
- Monitor KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turnover, DOH, Fill Rate
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams
