Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Engineer with expertise in CAD modeling to join our team in the gun accessory industry. This role is ideal for a soon-to-be or recent college graduate who is passionate about design and innovation. You’ll work on cutting-edge accessories, using tools like Fusion 360 and SolidWorks to bring concepts to life. You'll gain hands-on experience in product development, from concept modeling to final production, while collaborating with experienced engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine 3D models of gun accessories using CAD software such as Fusion 360 and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate concepts into detailed models ready for manufacturing.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
- Participate in the prototyping and testing processes to troubleshoot and optimize designs.
- Assist in maintaining thorough documentation and specifications for all designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new developments in CAD modeling and gun accessory design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (or near completion).
- Proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and other CAD software.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, or 3D printing.
- Basic knowledge of simulation techniques (e.g., FEA) for testing product durability and performance.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for the gun accessory industry is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product testing and iterative design.
- Knowledge of material properties and their impact on modeling and product performance.
- Understanding of firearm safety and performance regulations.
