Jr. Finance Officer

KalSoft is seeking a Junior Finance Officer to support our finance operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial processing. This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional who is eager to gain hands-on exposure in corporate finance, accounting operations, and regional business support.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including vouchers, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents

• Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Support bank reconciliations, ledger reviews, and monthly/periodic closing activities

• Assist in preparation of financial statements, management reports, and internal summaries

• Coordinate with internal departments for billing, expense verification, and finance-related queries

• Support audit requirements by maintaining proper documentation and responding to audit queries

• Ensure adherence to company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Assist in tracking expenses, budgets, and basic cost analysis

• Support tax-related documentation and statutory compliance as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role

• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes

• Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, reconciliations)

• Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Good written and verbal communication skills
